October Update

“He who brings out the starry host calls each of them by name…not one of them is missing.” Isaiah 40:26

Dear Parents,

We continue to be blessed with no COVID cases and are waiting patiently for the new playground equipment to be delivered mid-October.

Thank you to everyone that made the mum sale a huge success, those that picked them up, and those that purchased over 500 mums!

Thank you to all of the parents who completed the “Social Media/Technology” survey and attended the session with Cassie Moore last week. We will continue to share information on how this effects our students and their families, and how we can help protect your children!

Volunteers are still needed for lunchroom supervision on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Camp-Read-A-Lot is scheduled for November 16th, but we will need several volunteers to make this happen. Scholastic Book Fair Chairperson/Co-Chairpersons (contact the book company to set up the dates, setting up and taking down the book displays, and manage book sales)

1. Decorations (several volunteers to decorate on the 16th): decorate the gym as a “camp-out”

2. 4 Readers: with costume, simple decorations for your room, and read a book of your choice to small groups of children during the event

3. Food (several volunteers): Arrange for food for the event, set-up tables & decorate

4. Crafts/Activities (several volunteers): plan games, crafts, and activities for the event.

Now that we can schedule such events, it would be disappointing not to be able to have it for lack of volunteers. Give us a call and let us know what part you would be willing to help with.

Blessings and good health to each of you!

Rayleen Wilson, Administrator
