Dear Parents,

Happy Labor Day! I hope your weekend was relaxing, fun, and safe.

1. September 11th, Volunteers needed: This is a call for help with de-construction of the old playground equipment this Saturday, beginning at 7:30 a.m. We have ro complete this task before the new equipment can be installed in the next week. At this time, I have not received any calls from volunteers! Lunch and drinks will be provided by PALS and ladies of CTK. Bring your tools, or just your muscles! Many hands make light work!

2. COVID update: Happy to announce that there were no new cases last week.

3. September 13th, Free Physicals: Dr. Brickner will conduct free physicals at the school for all students who are participating this year in volleyball, cross-country, archery, or track and who did not receive a physical either last year or this year.

4. September 24th: NO elementary classes on September 24, for teacher workshop.

Preschool WILL be in session on the 24th.

1. September 27th, social media! How does it affect your child? Watch for scheduled guest speaker, Cassie Moore, noted author, speaker, and youth director, as she shares information on social media and the effects on children ages 9-14. She will meet with students in the afternoon, and parents on September 27th, at 6:00 p.m. in the CTK Sanctuary. More information to come! Watch for parent survey coming Friday, September 10th.

2. October 24th: Get your running shoes warmed up. Information coming soon on the TKA 5-K Fund-raiser which has been scheduled for October 24th.
